Onwards !!

Recently finished two A3 pieces I've been working on - both are painted with gouache and blue ink. They are soon to be little postcards - next I'll be making boarders  and backing pages for them.

No kidding

As apart of some course work we were asked to do a black and white illustration of something with texture - I went with a furry goat - possibly the most fed up looking goat ever. Drawn with a biro pen, I'd never used one to draw with before - really like em now.

The Sketchbook Project

I've sent off my sketchbook to The Sketchbook Project (such a great concept.)

So rushed in the end -next year will spend longer with it!

The whole project has inspired me to start keeping a sketchbook again -rather than my current process of just scribbling on butcher's paper (...receipts, lolly wrappers, cafe serviettes ect) when I get an idea and then moving on to nice drawing paper when I'm happy with it.
